I purchased an iPhone which my company decided could not be used on there server. I have since been using the device as little more than an iTouch as there is now no SIM card in it (it went back in my BBerry). I tried to update the software and now it will not allow me to sync. The phone shows emergency calls only. HOW DO I GET MY iTOUCH FEATURES BACK? Do I just drop the BBerry SIM card back in?

Phone will not update without SIM card

You could try just putting the SIM back in, but it will then make you activate the phone which could screw with your contract.
