Phone won't back up

Hey guys,

I've got a 3G that is on 3.1.2 and jailbroken. I want to upgrade to the new iPhone, but my phone won't back up. It makes it about 80% of the way and then stops making progress.

Anyone have this problem? Know a solution? Or am I Just out of luck?
