PhoneIt-iPad makes the ipad a phone?

this morning i came across a news that an app named ”PhoneIt-iPad ” will be available in Cydia.
yeap, jsut as its name indicates, the ipad 3G whiched equipped this app will turn to a huge smartphone.
Then let us look at what is needed to use this software: a jailbrokened ipad 3G and 20 dollars. that's all!

Sucks for ipad 2 owners like myself

I find this really interesting but the more I think about it, it doesnt really seem practical other than when your inside your house. Props to the devs who made this though.

I wonder if carriers can figure out if you're using voice on device that is only meant for data.

I hope I dont see people walking down the road holding iPad next to their ear
