I just made a backup on iTunes of my old iPhone. I than setup iPhone 6 with the backup but most of my albums didn't transfer over, everything else seems fine though. Anyone else have this problem ? I'm on IOS 8.0

Yes, my wife had the same problem with iPhoto. I sync mine from actual picture files on folders (very nineties) and mine is fine. I've never been a big fan of iPhoto, and not that the iOS app doesn't even run on iOS 8 I say good riddens.
She is resetting and restoring now to see if it makes any difference.
