Hi,

I'm trying to decide on which iPad to get. Once goal is syncing the majority ofmy iphoto library -- about 8500 shots and growing. I was wondering how much storage is used in your iPad for your library size. It doesn't seem to be easily calculated -- my iPhone uses 750MB for only 1,200 photos (at 640 pixels long side, I believe). That is 626 kb/stored photo, which is dramatically larger than the actual photo file size. I'm not sure what all the other data is...

It seems the iPad downsamples to 1,126 pixels on the long dimension, so it should use about 3x the space of the iPhone.

I'd appreciate it if a few of you could provide a photo count and the corresponding "photo" data size as displayed in the iTunes sync screens.

Thanks!
