Photo App not rotating on iOS6/iPhone 5

I noticed that when I take a picture in portrait mode, then click on the little icon in the camera app to see the picture, the picture is always in landscape mode no matter how it was taken. It also does not rotate with the phone. WHen I quit the camera app and go into the photo app, then it works fine. However, doing it from camera app does not.
