iPod photo backup w/ ipod Classic

Hi,

I was wondering if there was an sdcard backup option (much like the iPad one) that works for the current iPod classic for backup up photos/vids while traveling? I know there used to be one, but I think you have to plug you camera directly into it? Does it even work with the classic anymore? I'd prefer just an SD Card reader option, but if I have to plug the camera into it as well that would do the trick.
