After searching for well over an hour through forums I've decided to create an account & start a thread...

I recently deleted some files & empty folders from my account, nothing that I thought would do anything, of course, it must have done something. When I click on Photo Booth on my dock (or in the Applications folder) it bounces, the color wheel spins & an error message pops up saying, "The application Photo Booth quit unexpectedly." No other applications have been affected.

These are the failed steps I've taken in trying to resolve the issue so far:

I've tried using Time Machine to go back and replace the application with a previous version.
I've tried repairing disk permissions. I got quite a few warnings saying that certain SUID files had been modified & wouldn't be repaired, I'm not sure if this is normal or not.
I've deleted my Photo Booth account preferences, which didn't do anything, because it would just reappear upon an attempted launch of the application, (which maybe is what's supposed to happen.)

It IS I'm assuming an account issue, because I did create another user & launch Photo Booth there and it worked properly. Also, iSight works fine with both my iChat & Skype applications.

Any help/insight would be appreciated!
Thanks in advance.
