So after updating Photo Booth via the Apple Website... When I click on "effects", the page pops up and I can select the different pages of effects via the arrows, but if i was to click the Boxes located directly under the previews, Photo Booth will crash and the box will pop up asking if I want to report, relaunch, etc.

Bumping doesn't help (nor does it fly much around here). We all watch but genuinely haven't a reliable answer for you yet. Be patient, one will come.
While you wait it never hurts to Verify Permissions. (Applications, Utilities, Disk Utility - select hard drive in left pane and click Verify Disk Permissions) Repair if needed.
