Photo Booth effects not working and freezes

Photo Booth works fine with the first couple pages of effects but once I choose another page of effects (towards the end usually) Photo Booth freezes. I already repaired permissions and I have restarted my computer more than once (for other reasons) since this has started happening. I forget if this started happening before I installed Snow Leopard or after. Any advice?

The same thing happens to me when I go the the pages of the extra effects you can download from Apple.com.

I’m guessing Snow Leopard has a problem with them.

Update to Snow Leopard 10.6.2 and Photo Booth will no longer crash.

HOWEVER, some of the added effects were coming out as inverted colors and then photo booth stopped picking up my camera.

I uninstalled the additional effects and it works fine now with the default settings.
