Photo Booth video freezes

I used Photo Booth to record a short video. After it was done and I went to watch the video, I noticed that the video froze but the audio kept going. This was using the Paris background effect. I recorded the video a few times and it does the same thing every time. All updates are done.

Also, when it asks you to step out of the frame, when you step back in, there's a lot of "interference" with the video when using a background effect. The background of the room that I'm in actually starts to appear, which defeats the purpose. Any ideas?

Same here. Seems a bit intermittent though.
