Photo Booth won't load prev. pics/videos

This was an issue I had for long and was wondering about. I recently upgraded to a new hard drive and wanted to move all my Photo Booth pictures to be seen in the Photo Booth app.

So I move all the pictures into the folder but when I open Photo Booth it only shows the pictures I took since my new install! How can I get my previous pictures loaded into the app?

Did you put the pictures into /Users/your user name/Pictures/Photo Booth directory?
