I have A LOT of photos on three hard drives. There are many duplicates, both files and folders and a huge mess from the iphoto importing. (I can't stand all my 2005 > 5 type folders...it's a mess iphoto has created)

I'm trying to eliminate all of the dupes and merge everything cleanly onto one new hard drive. Any app or process suggestions? Much appreciated!

iPhoto Diet can find duplicates for you, but it would mean putting the pics back into iPhoto

iPhoto Buddy could help you to maintain separate libraries if you fancied approaching it that way.

is sticking with iphoto really the way to go? I just can't stand all the subfolders they've created for me. Any non iphoto apps to try?
