Photo editing using Astropad as graphics tablet

I wondered if any of you have tried Astropad with Lr or Ps (or other editing app) on their iPad, Pencil and Mac to do photo editing work. If you already own the iPad it would seem to be a good initial step into using a graphics tablet. Any and all feedback welcome!
