Photo import from iPhone to second macbook?

My iphone was connected to a friends macbook via usb for tethering. Is there any way that the photos from my iphone could be imported upon the first instance of my phone and his macbook being connected via usb?

Sorry I couldnt find anything in the search about this.

Photos do not automatically import. iPhoto, Image Capture, or some non-Apple software would have to be launched, then the Import button to be clicked to import whatever you had in the Camera Roll.
