Hi I moved my photo library from a iMac to a 2015 MacBook using an external HD a while back and now it seems that I have used up twice the space of the original library on my MacBook. When I look at storage in "about this mac" it shows 80gb in documents of photos, this is where i put the photo folder. It also shows 70 gb in "photos". I deleted a lot of duplicates since importing them so maybe thats why its smaller. Ive tried to throw the original folder in the trash and open the photo app but it says it cannot find the home folder. Is there a way to make this work and not take up so much memory on my MacBook? thx
