So I bought a new 1TB iPad Pro that will be used for photo viewing. I seem to have discovered from some Googling that Apple has major issues with photos appearing out of chronological order when synced with a Mac or PC.

Originally, I thought connecting an iPad to a Mac/PC, the iPad would appear as a storage device and I could easily drag files to it and the apps would know what to do and show the photos.

I would prefer to use Apple's stock Photos app. My goal is to transfer photos from the Mac/PC to the iPad and then I can see all the photos under one view in the Photos app. The photos should also be sorted chronologically so that I can easily filter or scroll through them.

How should I set this up? If I can't do it with Apple Photos, what about another app?

I've been using a 3rd party app I like, HashPhotos. It has a nice layout of the Photos Library, sorted by date with dated thumbnails separating different dates. It has other viewing options, too.
