Hi!

We are proud to announce our relatively new app which already has its first couple of updates.

It's the photo gallery browser for photo.net, the prominent photography website where both professional and talented amateur photographers showcase their portfolios. The quality of images available is extremely high and incomparable to the average flickr galleries that are to be found on the appstore.

The universal app is pretty slick and stylish and show thousands of galleries of quality images. Of course there are all sorts of sorting options, photographer commentary and of course slideshows (which is our personal favourite)

Please, take a look. You will be entertained for hours, guaranteed. Any feedback is welcome!

An update of Photo.net Gallery has just been released on the App Store.

It's a small update for the iPhone version which improves usability quite a bit. It's now easier to make your selections by using spinner-wheels. The benefit of this is that these also show the current selection that is in use, something that was not possible with the old selection lists.

Also added is a gallery selection called Street which shows street life. It's a fascinating category, especially when reading some of the photographer comments.

Have fun!

Another update and it's a big one this time!

It's now possible to search for images using photo tags. Next to the gallery and single photo's selections there is now a new entry called tag search.

As usual, the results can be sorted on age and popularity. All photo's are rated by the Photo.net community which means that it's possible to see the best ones first.

Here are 2 examples using "aurora" and "leopard" as keywords on the iPhone version:

Results can be used in its own dedicated slideshow. Simply select a thumbnail to show the full image and start. The slideshow will just loop through all the results for ever (it's even possible to manually scroll through the images during a slideshow).

Tag search is a much requested feature and the best thing is that since searches are initiated by the user like with web browsing, Apple's censorship is less severe which means that ALL image categories can be searched through including studio work, fine arts, etc. (A 17+ rating is still needed, though :))

In any case, have fun!

Another update. This time the inevitable bug fixes for iOS 5 and some nice speed improvements when loading new selections.

And to top it all off, the app has a shiny new icon made by the people from ICONS etc.

Promocodes!

There are some PROMOCODES to be found in the promo sub-forum :)
