For me the lighting is interesting the subject not so. Just my thought. Also I want an iPad

I like the use of shadow, but the bright thumb to the lower right destroys much of the effect. And, although I think iPads are fun devices, the photo comes across as rather narcissistic IMHO.

Basically I guess I'm saying the same thing as G.T.

+1, actually all the glowing fingers take the niceness out of the photo.. plus the ipad is not the thing you want to take shots of, unless you are a) a apple marketing person or b) a fanboy and want to show it

Lots of potential. Maybe the iPad can be a key feature but not the main subject instead.

I would do one where you're looking at the screen, then have a blue gelled flash shoot into a reflective surface on it. Though in that setup I guess you'd want to light the logo separately.
