What is the best printer to purchase for printing 8 x 10 black and white photos?

Could you be a bit more specific? Do you mean best printer in terms of printing quality, best in printing speed or the best bang for your buck? Or some combination? 'Best' can mean different things for different people.

You might look at the Canon Pixma Pro, or the Epson Stylus Pro 3880. It's about $1200 but I think they're doing a rebate. So is Canon.
