Photo printer

Time for a new dedicated photo printer. Can anyone recommend one? Here's the deal:

1 four year old iMac running mavericks os
2 I have a all in one so I don't need fax/copy/plain paper printing
3 would like it to be an AirPrint but not a deal breaking if it isn't
4 ability to print different size photos (the last one was just 4x6)
5 trying to keep cost under $300

Look at the Canon Pixma pro series. There are 3 models. 100, 10, and 1.

I got my Pro 1 on ebay for half of list price.
