photo question on iphone 3Gs

if i can remember correctly at some point i saw a menu or something somewhere on the phone where i could show only photos, only videos and both somewhere on the phone, but now i can't seem to find where this was...

as anyone seen this? still seeing it? any help would be greatly appreciated

It's in the camera roll
of iPhone. You have photos, videos or all option

I have an iPhone 3Gs and it was there at one point but last night I had a problem with my phone that it was at least half charge and then just wouldn't turn on...plugging into a charger wouldn't fix it and finally had to hold down the sleep/wake and home button to restart my phone and that worked, and then last night as I was looking at my pics I noticed there was no menu now to show only photos and to only show video...is there anything I can do?

I noticed it's only viewable when u get to photo library from the camera app. Not photos app
