Photo Resizing tool

You can do that very easily in Automator. I've made several scripts... some to convert images to 800px maximum, or to convert to jpg for example... It's all pretty simple.
 
For individual pictures, resize or crop - just use Preview (if you're running Leopard) - and/or iPhoto.
