Is it possible to make a photo sequence with FCE as with iMovie? And interpolate it with movie clips?
 
Yes, you can add photos to FCE and mix them in with movie clips.

Maybe I don't get exactly what you are asking.

That's exactly what I wanted to know. I just couldn't find it in the tutorials and didn't figure out how to do it.
 
You add them to the project and the timeline like you would any other clip from your hard drive - drag and drop or import.
