We're an online publisher with a large collection of photos (our own and those we buy from stock providers). iPhoto, Aperture, Lightroom -- terrific if you're a photographer who works alone.

We need a collaborative tool. Any suggestions?

So far the possibilities I've thought of are not appealing:

1. Set up a Mac mini with iPhoto and get everyone a LogMeIn account to access it. Put someone in charge of adding all new photos to the iPhoto library.

2. Use Flickr, make all the photos private, and share the login company-wide.

Thank you.

You could use multiple Aperture Libraries and merge them all into a master Library when applicable. I realize that it's not ideal but, it's a (partial) solution anyway.

With an option like #2, you lose far to many features for it to be worthwhile.

There is also the option of going back to a good old shared disk (ie: NAS). Again, however, you lose a ton of features...
