Photo Shop for Mac

Any sugestions would be nice Im looking for a photo shop witch I could merge several photos into one giant pic like a colage if that makes sence I wana merge several pics to make one and also a tool that will let me resize pics.
Im not seeing any thing in iphoto. I saw the new release for the Adobe for mac but not sure if that will do also the reviews were not to good, thanks....

Adobe Photoshop or Photoshop Elements

These are probably your best choices for the results you want

If you only want something for stitching photos together, cropping and basic manipulation I wouldn't go splashing out on full Adobe Photoshop (unless you're planning on learning more advanced stuff)

I'd imagine Photoshop Elements (here) would be just fine for you, or even one of the free packages as MacDawg suggested, like The Gimp.

Two other programs are Seashore, a free program at http://seashore.sourceforge.net/

and Pixelmator which costs $59 at

You can download a free trial version of Pixelmator. I have been
using Pixelmator and find that it's a good program. They send
free updates after you purchase it. Also, there are a lot of videos
online that demonstrate what it can do and how to use it.
