I have an iPad, iPhone and Apple TV. The Apple TV shows 999 pictures in my photo stream. My iPhone and iPad will only download 116. The iPad and iPhone both have a lot of free memory and have a full charge. All photo stream settings are turned on. Everything is on the same wifi network. Any ideas?
I have also restored the iPad, and turned photo stream off and back on with the iPhone. Nothing has helped.

I find that Photostream stops syncing if there's a video in my camera roll. Every photo after that won't sync because the video is "blocking". This simple little annoyance, that's STILL NOT FIXED, is why I no longer use Photostream. This is also why I don't use apps that lock me into Apple's Walled Garden. My info should available to me on any iOS, Android, Windows, or Mac. This is why I use Dropbox, Evernote, etc. because they are cross flatform and really don't care who the underlying OS is.

Thanks... At least I got a response. I use photobucket as well as photo stream but there are certain things I never put in both places. Oh well, maybe I'll try to delete the video from my camera roll and see what happens.
Edit- There aren't any videos in my camera roll. Thanks anyway.

This might be a problem on your phone, maybe a restore or resetting the photostream because on mine(iPhone 5) it simply uploads all pictures skipping videos.

Anyone else have any ideas on this or is it just a broken feature that some of us will just have to deal with?

I just found something I thought might give some more info to you guys to see if you can help with this. I went to settings/general/usage/iCloud/manage storage and it shows my old iPhone 5 and my new one and my iPad as listed devices. If I delete my old phone's backup, I think it would erase my old photo stream pictures. Does photo stream only allow one iPhone per iCloud account at a time or something? Just trying to figure this out. It's very frustrating to not have all my pictures download to my phone when I know they're out there in the cloud.

photostream only downloads the most recent 30 days worth of photos back to a new or restored device. your photos are still in the cloud, but only the past months worth will be redownloaded.

Thank you so much for the clarification!
