Photo Sync - View Order

I thought that after syncing photo folders that the images were always sorted in date order.
Just updated a new folder and that's not the case.
A quick review shows some in date order, others not.
Is there something I'm missing?

(iPad 3 + Win 7 Home Premium 64-bit)
