Photo Viewer and Editor

I use Picasa on my PC to manage and edit my photos. I like the "I'm feeling lucky" one click fixes. Is there an easy way to transfer the edited photos to iPad for viewing? I don't know if Picasa saves a new image or only the edits in a separate file.

Or is there another photo editing program better or this?
