Photoalbums+ and iCloud Backup

I was thinking about buying Photoalbums+ to better organize my photos on my phone. I am concerned about backing up my photos with icloud however. If I use Photoalbums+ to move something out of the camera roll, it will no longer be backed up with iCloud. Is this correct?
