PhotoBooth All of a sudden unstable

I have had my BlackBook for about a month and a half and couldn't be happier, but now photobooth crashes EVERY F*****G time I switch from camera mode to picture view mode and use the arrow keys. This is beyond pissing me off and I never expected this from a mac. I expected this to be a microsoft thing. Please help!

repair permision, repair disk won't help

Still wait apple will do something.
I guess this happened after installing the quicktime and itune 8.0

I use PhotoBooth regularly, along with More iChat Effects, and send idiotic emails to my family. I have too much time on my hands.
I tried to duplicate the OP's problems and couldn't. I also updated to 10.5.5, iTunes 8, Quicktime, etc. I did notice, however, that when switching from picture view to camera view, I get a kind of flash/hiccup thingy, but then it settles down.
