Photos app 10.11.2

Hi all
i have photos 1.3 running on my 2013 iMac running 10.11.2
i use iCloud photo library...i noticed that when i select 'photos' from the sidebar, i have a summary of the number of photos, videos, update status ....and an entry about items on 'this mac' only
I can't seem to figure out a way to upload those items that are only on 'this mac'
any ideas?
unless, for some reason, these items can't be uploaded
though i can't find a real good way to find these items

You can create a smart album where Photo > is > Unable to upload to iCloud Library

@ricosuave interesting. great idea...but i just tried it and no photos populated the smart album. so not sure whats going on with these '722 items on this mac only'
