In iPhoto My PhotoStream would automatically create new events with the name "Apr 2015 PhotoStream" - I have years of photos sorted this way in iPhoto - Now I have converted my library to the new Photos App and Albums replaces Events - I get it and all my events are in one album called events - this was an easy fix, just made them into Albums. - How can I have Photos auto create monthly albums form my photo stream imports? Don't want to have to create new albums and sort each month... iPhoto did this for me automatically.

There is no way to automatically make albums for each month.
Here is a very easy way to do it.... but time consuming depending on how many months you want to do.

Type "February 2014" in the search field.
It will show all images from that month.
Select all.
Click the + in the toolbar and select Album.
Name the album.

That's not a bad way to get around my issue - was hoping for an automatic way - but that's a not too painstaking solution.

You can also create new Smart Albums, one for each month. You can do that before, during, or after the month has past (though it'll work best if you create it in advance, then it'll appear to behave exactly as the Events did).

Or, one can become divorced from the concept of monthly Events, and use the Photos view (Years/Collections/Moments) to find your photos chronologically.
