Hi,

I just imported the backup of my photos app library on my restored MacBook.

But it doesn't play a lot of the Videos I have. All the Videos were recorded with the different iPhone Generations. The entry for the videos is still there in the app but if I click on it, it says that it can't be played as the file couldn't be found.

Then I looked in the Finder for the files, and they are there, full size, but can't be played, not even with the VLC Player. I installed the Remo mov repair app, and it does work on the most files I have tested, but the quality is nowhere what it was, looks like it was taken with a mobile phone from 15 years ago.

So my question is, is there a better or easier way to get the files working again? I have a lot of videos...

I don't unterstand how this could happen. I just exported the complete photos library on my external disk. How could this cause the videos getting corrupt?
