Quick question. Is there an easy way of Editing a photo with an external app (Eg. Photoshop). There doesn't seem to be a 'Edit with..." item on the contextual menu for the photos. I know I can export the photo, and then edit it in Photoshop, just seems a bit messy- I'd then have to re-import the image and delete the original. Any ideas?

Short answer; no.

At this time the only built-in method for editing photos is within the application. I wouldn't be surprised if companies like Adobe eventually release extensions/widgets/whatever-we-call-them to allow for this sort of feature...

But at this time? Nope.

Edit: I should note that extensions are disabled 'for now' for Photos for Mac. Most developers suspect they will be enabled some time after the June WWDC and that Apple wants to just let users essentially "Live beta" the existing UI for a few months.
