Almost every other day, when I access my photos on my iPhone 11 Pro Max, either through the Photos App, or just accessing photos through other apps like sending photos with Messages, the access to photos just freezes.

I can launch the Photo's app, but nothing responds to touch. It's basically frozen. I force quit it, and relaunch, and same thing. Try to send a photo to someone through a message, and tap the camera then the photos icon in the upper left and I get a white screen at the bottom where the "recent photos" should be.

If I restart my phone, the Photos App starts working again. For a day or two. Then starts freezing again.

What are some causes of this? I have plenty of free storage. Everything is up-to-date (iOS, apps, etc.).

Looking for ideas on how to fix this without resorting to full reset and restore.

Thanks.
