Photos App & iCloud: iPhoto library upload just for selected pictures???

Short Question. I installed the beta and imported my iPhoto library. When I now activate iCloud Photo library, wich I did on all my iOS devices, does it upload EVRY photo from my iphoto import to the cloud? Or can I select, wich photos will be uploaded???

I haven't used it yet, but every review and preview I've read indicates it will upload whatever is in the Photos library.

I don't expect it will have the option to exclude items, at least at first.
