Does anyone know if Apple made any changes to the Photos app in Mojave? Any better organizational tools, editing tools, speed improvements etc? Is it any more like Aperture was (which I still miss)?

New Version is 4.0 - just testing it with a few older data base / libraries
It is a database update from HS Photos3 to Mojave Photos 4 - so make a back up before opening the file in the new version - no going back with out a back up.
Places is cool - I can see in maps where all my pictures were taken and totals by location - TBH - this may not be new.
Some new iCloud options - but I don't store media types on icloud
