I am not keen to pay for iCloud storage, but have My Photo Stream enabled on my Mac and iOS devices.
When photos are deleted from MPS when they expire after 30 days (or I go over 1000), are they removed from my Mac's Photos.app as well?
If they expire after 30 days from MPS and are removed from the MPS album, where are they kept on my Mac?
I essentially want my Mac to backup my phone's photos in case I lose/break my phone. Sync'ing with iTunes over Wifi does not actually backup the photos - it just tells you to open up Photos.app and transfer them that way. It seems a real hassle to have to get a cable out just to sync/backup my photos.
