Photos App Problem

When I take a picture with my iPhone 4s and view it in my Pictures App, it automatically zooms in on the picture a little bit. I have to pinch the picture to zoom out and see the full original picture I took. Does this happen to everyone, or is it a problem with my iphone/software?
