Photos app question - option to delete items after importing from iOS device

Hi all,

After having migrated my iPhoto/Aperture library to Photos, I noticed that every time I plug my iOS device in to import, sometimes the option to delete items after import is available, but sometimes, it does not appear at all.

Any ideas what's wrong? Has anyone else experienced this as well?

I don’t think there is an explanation. Likewise, my Photo Stream ‘album’ often disappears from the sidebar for no apparent reason.

Is anything else happening on your iPhone at the moment? Maybe (iCloud) backup or iTunes sync?

I disabled iCloud backup (I use encrypted iTunes backups and run them once every 2 days).

iTunes sync was also completed before I opened the Photos app.

Update: I've submitted a bug report to Apple regarding this.
