Since around 10.14.3 or so, Photos.app has been incredibly clunky and slow. Menu commands take a while to load, the "Info" dialog takes forever, and trying to input keywords or other input, there's a definite lag. I have about 20k photos/videos (iCloud Photo Library), but it was smooth as silk with 10.14.2 and before, so I'm not sure what happened.
Repairing the library probably won't get anywhere, and then it'd have to re-upload/re-download all photos from iCloud, which would be an incredible pain, not to mention a long Time Machine backup.
My laptop is a 2015 rMBP, and all other applications run smoothly, including Mojave, so it's seemingly not the OS or some kind of corruption.
Is anyone else experiencing the same thing?
