Photos app storage

Hi guys

Quick question (and please excuse any novice terminology)......

With iPhoto, I was not able to keep my photo library on my NAS (Sinology) as the drive was not MacOS formatted. iTunes library is fine to keep ion this.

Will this change with the new Photos app or is it the same?

Id say no difference. Photos is about storing images online, it doesn't do anything to allow you to write to windows HD's.
