Photos app vs browsing photos

Hey All,

Quick question, I am dumbfounded. I've noticed when I browse "Photos" say to upload a picture I am missing pics from say the last 2 days. If I open the Photos app they however show up? Why are they not visible when browsing? Am I missing something?
