Photos automatically delete from Photo Stream if deleted from iPhone

Does anyone know a way around this? I liked having photos in my photo stream that I deleted off my iPhone, I used this quite often. (I also used albums but I can make due with that gone).

I like not keeping a ton of photos on my phone, so once I move them to my computer then I would sometimes delete the non-sentimental ones but I kept some of them in my Photo Stream. Does anyone know if you can turn this off?

There have been a few "workarounds" but they are not streamlined in any way, and require you to manage photos manually between devices.

Ah got it. Thanks Hopefully they will add albums back and then it will work. Until then I will make sure I have everything downloaded on my computer
