Photos combination from two iPhones

From a recent trip I got photos from both my iPhone and my gfs device. What's the best way to store the photos in any of the phones or on a PC but have them sorted by date like they are on the iPhone's sorted?

There might be other ways that are better that someone else may know. But you could airdrop the photos from your GF's device into yours. And if you have a Mac computer you could then import all of them from your phone with the Photos.app in OS X into Photos. It will keep the exact organization you see by date on your phone. (Photos on the Mac is nearly identical to Photos on your iPhone.)
