In the last week or so, I've got two weird iCloud issues: Photos on my Mac is stuck at "downloading 1 original" and Messages on my Mac won't stop syncing with iCloud. I've tried all the tricks with Photos like selecting all and clicking "Play Slideshow" to force them to download, deleting recently deleted items, even repairing the library at startup. Anyone seen these before or know how to resolve? That's separate from the fact that both my brand new phone and watch were both were completely dead this morning after going to sleep with them at 50% battery... I swear every fall/winter my life is just fixing Apple devices that decide life isn't worth living into the new year.

[Edit] Oh and now that iOS 17.2 is out and Settings now has the ability to check, it seems Messages on my phone haven't synced since the 10th? Clicking the button of course does nothing except make it grey out.
