The photos I take on my Iphone 6 with edits applied to it in the stock "photos" app I sync through cable with my mac "photos" app and that works great. All the edits stay preserved. Recently I did a factory reset on my phone and wanted to move the edited images back to my phone, keeping both photo apps in sync.
That won't work. Once synced it gives me the option to create a duplicate but the edits are fixed.
The only way around seems to sync through iCloud but that's not always convent to me because I travel a lot and don't want to use up my data all the time.
Anyone knows a way to do this around iCloud sync?
