Photos from MobileMe to Iphone

Sorry if this has already been asked but I couldn't find it.

Are you able to download photos from your mobileme gallery to your camera roll? I know I can send pics from my iphone to my mobileme gallery so it doesn't make sense that you can't go the other way.

You can view your mobileme gallery through the safari browser then save the photos to your iphone. That's what I do.
