Photo's has background sync?

Hi there,

I was wondering if there is any information on the sync of the Photos app.

It seems that the app' syncs while it's not open?

I had it closed, made a photo on my ipad.
Opened it, and it was there, instantly.

Anyone has any information about this?

To quote Jason Snell:

Even though Photos wasn’t open, a background task was uploading my photo library to iCloud.

In short yea - it appears to have a background upload feature, but one that isn't too great just at the moment
